The everlasting holiday favorite “The Little Drummer Boy” has its origins in a folk tune from the Czech Republic. The song didn’t really take off until later, even though it was published ten years ago. Throughout the years, a number of renowned performers, including Justin Bieber and Bing Crosby, have tried to revitalize this beloved song.
The incredible releases of country music star Carrie Underwood stunned her fans with a significant addition to her 2020 album. The eleventh track is a unique duet in which her 5-year-old son, Isaiah, sings the lead vocals for “The Little Drummer Boy.”
Carrie acknowledged that she had been skeptical at first about working with her son, but she was really impressed by his performance when she heard the end product. She went so far as to say that Isaiah and the youngster in the song’s story are remarkably similar. On December 25th, the much awaited duet will be released. The CD features both Carrie’s original compositions and beloved Christmas songs.
It is recommended that listeners hit play to enjoy the endearing mother-son duet. Please feel free to comment on this version in the Facebook comments section.
